These sites are used where no electrical connections are available or trenching in green areas are prohibited to obtain access to these sites. It can also be used where a site is remote.



WIND POWER

In areas such as the Cape the use of wind power is an absolute given as our Green Site almost always encounter high wind speeds. Different wind turbines can be used: some for low wind speeds and others for high wind speeds - as used on our "Sir Lowry's Pass" - Vertical wind turbunes.

SOLAR PANNELS

In most regions of South Africa this will be the prime source of alternative energy as we experience a majority of sunny days. In the Cape however this is the alternative source to wind.
