Both Directional - and Rock Rigs are used, not only to support our project activities, but also to serve our clients in the broader industry.

Horizontal drilling (trenches technology) for specialized road, river & rail crossings includes:

• Directional Drilling
• Rock Drilling
• Large diameter drilling/Installation

DIRECTIONAL DRILLING
Where ground conditions allow (soft soils, sands etc.) directional drilling can be used to cross underneath any road, rail or river. With this method the drill can be steered on the planned drill route via specialized drill head locating tools.

ROCK DRILLING
Where hard rock is encoutered (Dolomite, Basalt, Granite, Hard Sandstone etc.) sleeve installation underneath roads, rails and rivers need to be installed with this method. Entrance and exit pits need to be excavated for drilling equipment to be installed before drilling.

THRUST DRILLING
This method can be used for short drilling distances in softer formations eg. driveways, small roads etc. (Entrance and exits is also required)
